River crouched low when she hit the ground with a jolt. She'd jumped from quite a height and hadn't expected to hit the ground quite so quickly. This also wasn't where she was a second ago. It's as if she'd jumped straight into another world. She'd like to say it was the strangest thing that had ever happened to her, but she'd be lying.

She felt in her pockets, taking inventory and pulled out her sonic, glad she hadn't lost anything in the fall.

She went about examining the plant life and made her way over to a table sitting in the middle of the square.

Nyx was around the Town Square again, when it had happen. One moment he was examining the area in which he had awoken abruptly. Then he heard but not saw someone appear. A woman had been crouched as if she had jumped.

Nyx had looked up and around. Nothing of the sort could have been. Where did she appear from. This land was strange.

Still dressed in his battered Glaive armor, kukri in it's holster on his right thigh he started approaching. "Hello." Nyx called out raising a hand to show he wasn't a threat. "Where is it you came from?" He asked politely. "You see, you just weren't there, and now you are." As the man approached he was looking up in the air trying to see what was carrying her. "You see this land is quite strange, and I am trying to understand it."

	"Well, to be fair, there are quite a few people here." Nyx commented as he placed his hands on his hips watching. "Well, I can't explain it." Because he didn't exactly get it either. Plus he was just dead. "They call this land Starktopia or something." Nyx didn't remember, and thought it an incredibly stupid name for a town. Regardless, he'd abide by it. Looking back up and around. "Well, to be fair. I was dead before here." Nyx laid out plain and simply.

"I don't know, but to my understanding it's named after a man here. I have yet to meet him."

Nyx shrugged and responded. "Most places are named after a man, and often, a undeserving one." Nyx thought back to where he had been. Lucii. The royal family. They were deserving, if you asked Nyx, but he would leave that be.

"Pleasure, Professor Song." Nyx politely nodded. "Nyx Ulric. No nifty title." He offered a coy and fun smile.

Watching as she went about the table just as he did he nodded. "I did." He responded in a non-nonchalant manner.

The un-comfort of acknowledging you were living once again was real. Though it was just a fact. "Yes." How do you respond to that. "To say the least."
