It was really hard to wrap his mind around the idea of there being multiple versions of the same people from different universes. That being said, it wasn't the craziest thing he'd ever heard. With all he'd been through and everything he'd been made to grasp in order to catch up with the world over the past few years, this wasn't all that farfetched. It was just strange. He wasn't sure he'd want to meet another version of himself. Or maybe it would be interesting? He'd figure that out if the opportunity came up.
"Steve?" His eyebrows rose. Was it the Steve he knew? Or some other Steve? Any Steve was a good Steve, but it'd certainly help if it was his Steve. His mind sort of went a little haywire thinking about those possibilities. "I wonder if he's from my world. I should find him. I was going to meet him when I ended up here. We were about to enter a battle." He recognized the name Clint Barton; he'd fought with them in Germany, but it wasn't the same Barton he'd met.
"That's why I'm anxious about getting back. The world was on the brink of losing half its population. Not that I think I'm crucial in stopping it, but I should be there, regardless."
