She did remember what Dick had been like then, just like what she'd been like back then too, too smart for their own good and too sure they were doing exactly what they should be doing and not anything less. "Guess you deserve to be chasing after someone like that even here." It was only fair really, and it would be good for Dick no doubt, to have something to focus himself on, someone he cared about.
Barbara sighed, she knew it - the need to get home wouldn't change their ability to do so and she pressed her face into her hands for a moment, breathing out and trying not to have a melt down over it - it wouldn't change anything. She just didn't know what she was going to do if James did anything while she wasn't there to stop him. "I know, Dick." She nodded lifting her head finally, scrubbing away tears that she wasn't going to cry. "I know you would, you always do."
