Thor | Jan :: First Impressions
There it was! At least he was able to keep it positive and Jan nodded her head in agreement. "Did you ever fly around and you'd hit an air current a certain way that caused your hair to get all crazy and in your face?" Jan usually didn't like pulling her hair back, but she would if she knew she was flying a long distance. Nothing was worse than flying hair. She had considered cutting it shorter too, but each time she considered it, she couldn't bring herself to that kind of sacrifice.
Despite his calmer tone, Jan couldn't believe what she was hearing. Destroyed? Killed? They had been able to stop Hela, the whole academy had come together to help Thor save his people. But in this world, this Thor's existence, maybe they hadn't gotten there in time. And that thought was upsetting enough for Jan. She glanced over at her friend (because that's what he was, even though this was technically their first meeting), putting a hand on his arm. "I'm sorry Thor." And she was. There was probably something more or better she could have said in the moment, but it was the best she could come up with, because it was genuine. Jan could be very extra, but for the moments it counted, she made sure to let her friends know her support and feelings.
"So, does Storm Breaker have the same qualifications as Mjölnir? It's definitely easier to say!" She grinned as they continued to make their way deeper into the woods. The farther away from the town, the better. "Do you have to be worthy to wield it?" She didn't know a lot about Asgardian weaponry and she began to wonder why she had never asked about it before.
