"How many planets have you been to?" Peter wondered, because sure there were other planets and stuff out there, but most humans only really knew about the one, it was the rare few who knew how far reaching the galaxy could be. And even then Peter had only ever really hung around Earth, he was much more a New York boy than he was astronaut.
Something about this guy was strange, he dressed like he was still getting ready for his day, or maybe like he was from a lot longer ago than he seemed, but at the same time he was in a space ship so that couldn't be true. Maybe there was some kind of collapse of modern society and people just started wearing robes everywhere they went, he quickly glanced down at his feet to make sure he didn't also have slippers on, but that the technology managed to stick around - that didn't really make sense but maybe it was what had happened?
"Uh yeah, you know like... the Avengers?" He offered, maybe he hadn't heard of Spider-Man but most people had heard of the Avengers.
"I don't know for certain but from what I've been able to observe so far we're in some sort of pocket dimension, it's bringing together people from all different realities and putting them here in this one place for some reason that I haven't really been able to work out just yet." He shrugged, he wished he had better answers but this was where he was with things. "It doesn't feel like a planet because we can't leave the town - you try and go through the woods and you end up on the other side of town when you come back out again, you try and fly out but you get stopped in the sky, there doesn't seem to be a way to leave. Why have a whole planet when you only need this?"
