Sirius / Remus dranks.
Remus didn't want to do the wrong thing either. He was highly intelligent and gifted in many ways, but it wasn't like he was overflowing with experience in these matters. He had plenty of experience with The Thing, but only as a bystander. It was almost as though he and Sirius were just watching The Thing be nurtured between them, growing more and more all the time. Right now, they were actively starting to really engage with it and as familiar as The Thing was, this was uncharted territory. If he messed it up, he'd be devastated.
They weren't going to mess it up, were they? Remus didn't want to think so. He felt like they both had enough care for each other that they wouldn't let it go sour.
"Mm," he nodded. His gaze lingered on Sirius, and he didn't really hide the fact that he was checking him out. He knew he was blushing but he didn't try to hide that either. Sirius knew him; he knew him better than anyone. It'd be abnormal if he wasn't blushing. "Don't be long," he said, and grinned back at him. Even though they both knew Remus would wait for Sirius forever.
