Peter B | Gwen
Gwen had traveled the multiverse more than once now, but this was different. She'd never been stuck in it where she couldn't go home. But while she'd experienced it before, she didn't think she'd ever get used to it either. Even knowing there were other Gwen Stacy's out there, she still found it weird. As far as she knew, not many of the other Gwen's had powers. The one this Peter knew did, but they weren't certain if she was that Gwen or not. Her story sounded incredibly similar, but Gwen hadn't experienced the things Peter had yet. So she could be, but there was no way to know for sure. Not unless they went back and she did end up meeting him down the road.
"Yeah, that'd make it easier. Wouldn't have to explain where we've been for so long," Gwen said. "Time doesn't really seem to make a difference." There were people in Starklandia who did know each other from the same worlds, but had come from different points in time. "Only thing is, what if we get sent back and don't remember any of this? I mean, I guess it wouldn't affect us at that point because we wouldn't remember what we had here, but --" Gwen didn't really want to finish that thought. She didn't want to think about forgetting Peter or Mr. Stark or Jan or America or anyone else she'd met who she'd really come to care for. It'd be just her luck, though. Losing people she cared for kind of seemed to be a trend for Spider-People.
"Can I have another one of these? I promise I won't puke," she said, and pushed her now empty cup toward him. "We still gotta go up and sing, y'know." A much happier and lighter subject to bring up. One she felt far better about in every way.
