Tony Stark: Earth's Best Defender ([info]allaboutego) wrote in [info]snapthread,
Bucky Barnes (MCU) & Tony I'm so sorry
It wasn't like Tony was wandering around and planning on accosting people who he usually didn't. It wasn't like he was making the rounds or anything. It was just -- well. This was one of the first times he'd let himself actually socialize beyond talking to whoever it was that came up to his little work area (on his porch, no less) and chatted with him while he worked.

Bucky Barnes was not someone who had ever come to chat. In fact, as far as Tony could tell, he didn't do much of anything in any vicinity near Tony ever. It was almost (almost) like the guy was avoiding him. And wasn't that awkward? Tony was pretty sure it was awkward. Cohesion was the name of the game in Starklandia if anything was going to get done and he'd be the first to admit he'd been sort of remiss in fully calling for it.

Maybe it was time to fix things. Or at least try and make a little peace.

Except Tony's idea of doing that was by going in hard and blunt nearly immediately. "So," he said (once the other Steve had gone, because listen some things just had to be avoided and Tony wasn't Ready for that one), "is this how it's gonna be? What we're doing?"
