Bucky hadn't really thought much about who might sit down next to him other than Steve or Clint. If it wasn't either of them, then he figured he'd probably be going this night alone. And that was fine. He was perfectly capable of spending the evening by himself, casually watching the other people who showed up. It also might not be a bad thing if there was at least one sober person in the vicinity.
He'd been mid-drink when someone sat down beside him. Out of the corner of his eye, he was sure it was Steve. But when the newcomer spoke, he knew it wasn't his Steve. For one, the tone was a bit different. For another, well, Coke? Bucky didn't think his Steve would be ordering a soda, even if they were both in the same boat that they couldn't get drunk.
He set the bottle down and slowly turned to really look at this guy. He looked like Steve, just, younger. "...You're Steve..?" He asked, as the coke was given to the younger man.
