Tony Stark: Earth's Best Defender ([info]allaboutego) wrote in [info]snapthread,
Tony / Carol
Tony winced at that thought, but rather thought she was right -- something about Carol was just asking for a challenge. There'd be no way that she wouldn't be tempted to duke it out with another version of herself just to see who'd come out on top. He was only lucky that he had no such interest in doing that with smaller Tony.

And no, he didn't get all of the references, but he got enough of them between inference and having listened to the Guardian's of the Galaxy prattle on for a hell of a lot longer than anyone should have had. It wasn't hard to figure things out. "I think you'd still be able to pull it off," he offered, even if he knew it might mean she'd be out here trying to compare ages again.

He pushed his mug forward for her to refill, because he absolutely wasn't going to say no to something like that. "Sure. Same as I didn't think I was going to be a literal electrician or mechanic." But that was how this place worked. You just had to start with the basics and then build. "Your Earth is probably my Earth too," Tony pointed out but then looked around the bar a little more. "Even if this bar isn't my kind, usually." That wasn't a bad thing, though.
