Carol was definitely a leader, his plans for a pizza place were sped up at a great rate and he actually managed to get it up and running before they were set to open that night, and along with all the other work they'd done to get Pancho's up and running meant that when they opened for business that evening Peter was feeling a little bit like a proud... father? Was that right? Sure maybe he thought one day kids could be cool but did you compare bars to kids? That felt wrong. Maybe he was jumping the gun on this kid thing.
Anyway, here they were - at the bar, the pizza oven actually working so pizza for everyone, and there was going to be karaoke later and it was going to be great. Peter was so ready for all of it. Even if Carol wanted to call him the barback, being able to have even just a little bit of normal back was well worth it to be perfectly honest.
He leaned back to survey what they'd done, and ready to poor a drink while he waited to pull out another pizza. There were a few things he could make well and this happened to be one of them.
