Klaus | Jan :: Coffee Date
Jan made an uncertain face and shrugged her shoulders. "But then you have to try all of them and what if one like, totally messes with my mind?" She tapped the side of her head as if she had important knowledge up there. Which she did! She had so many birthday's to remember, as well as a list of things she wanted to keep an eye out for her shop, Tony's password so she can smuggle his phone when she needed it, plus an additional 10,000 other things she couldn't really prioritize at the moment. She didn't know a lot about drug use or what was safe or how to do it, but she was curious. She just wondered if Klaus was the right person to trust. But that was the whole point of 20 questions anyway and, to be honest, she was digging him. He wasn't like some of the people she usually hung out with at school, but he kind of reminded her of Bucky. Except less musical.
"Do you sing? Or play an instrument?" she asked suddenly, almost interrupting the conversation they were already having. Because as soon as she had asked it, she registered what he had been telling her, which was the answer to her first question...or the question that had been before this one. "Sirius!" She beamed. "I know him! He's actually the reason I opened my store! Really cool guy. Great accent. Really cute. I just wish I had been able to see more magic." Because really, the apparation was NOT fun for her. She would have rather seen him turn into a duck or turn other people into ducks. At least they would have all been safe and not all creepy like as they had been, staring them down. Jan shuddered remembering back to it.
"Aw, I'm sorry about your siblings." Jan gave him a sympathetic smile and a hand on his shoulder. "Maybe they'll still come through? Time portals can be tricky sometime." At least the theory was there, she hadn't actually done it herself. "Is that one of their powers? Time travel?" Because that was a pretty cool power.
But then he was asking about showing him her shop and she jumped at the opportunity. "Yeah! I don't know if you'll like anything there, but maybe you can do a few sketches and I can look for things next time I go out!" She placed her empty mug on the counter. "THANKS KATE!" she yelled before holding her arm out to Klaus.
