Klaus | Jan :: Coffee Date
"For me?" Klaus asked raising an eyebrow and shrugged, "Never met one that I didn't love." He'd try anything at least once, and had in most cases and if it got him fucked up then it was a keeper. "But everyone is different, if one doesn't work for you it doesn't mean others will be the same way." For a guy who was attempting to be sober a lot of his conversations ended up back here - but it was something he knew a lot about he supposed and why not? It wasn't like there was any saving the world to do here, who would it hurt if he wanted to get a little high.
Jan was interesting, Klaus decided. Still a lot like his first impression, but there were depths to her and that he could appreciate. That and she seemed to actually want to talk to him and not just humor him as they got to know one another a little bit better. Her story of how she'd ended up here was interesting too, graduation day - and going out to save the world, it was like she'd gone to some super hero school, which he supposed maybe he had too in a way - you know if a super hero school was your dad locking you in mausoleums to help you control your powers. "That does sound like a weird serendipitous moment." He agreed though, because it was, he didn't have the same sort of serendipity to his arrival though, so maybe that was just a Jan thing.
"Sirius, he's a wizard." Klaus still thought that was pretty amazing, you know powers were cool and all, but magic was definitely better. He could only imagine how much better he'd have done in life if he'd gotten magic rather than his questionably useful sort of power.
"I was trying to make a jump through time with my siblings and then suddenly I was here and they were not." But Sirius had been there and Klaus was willing to wait around and see where all of this lead for the time being, he deserved a break after everything they'd been through after all.
"Wanna show me your shop?" He asked, because she had one, she'd mentioned it when they'd first started talking and well Klaus wanted to see what passed for fashion here in Jan's eyes. Especially since they both seemed to have sadly reached the bottoms of their cups.
