She was absolutely right about that, but more often than not in his experience, appearances were exactly what they seemed to be. In terms of fashion of course he knew that people used it that way, but as the sort of black sheep of the family Klaus fully embraced the idea that his clothes ought to say that about him as well. Whether he was stealing Allison's skirts, or simply wearing his own brand of off beat second hand clothes. It was a look that worked for him.
"Maybe," He said thoughtfully, he could give it a go - though he hadn't seen anyone here just yet that looked like they'd be all that interested in his style, he could certainly take a shot at it. It wasn't like he had anything better to do.
Yes, there was absolutely a bit of a face when she heard the name he'd chosen, but that was to be expected. "It sounds nice," He shrugged, "And there's no one who has it so you'd never have to live up to any expectations with it."
"You?" He asked pleasantly surprised by her admission that she'd like scaring people. "You want to scare people." Now that really was proof that appearances could be deceiving. And how wonderful that little bit of knowledge was.
"If I had a choice, I wouldn't want any powers." He didn't even have to think about it, he'd seen what powers had given his siblings and himself, none of them had been able to lead lives that weren't troubled by the powers they'd been born with. "People like to think that regular people are missing out on something, but they're not."
