Thirteen | Rose :: Is this a joke?
She couldn't stop Rose, so she just stepped up behind her, also gaping a bit at it all. She noticed Rose's look when she saw her 12th face and leaned over to whisper to her. "I was a very grumpy old Scotsman before this. I mean, still me, but I think it was a phase." She preferred herself now. Then again, she always preferred who she was at the time.
Okay, the theory was confirmed. The Doctor considered what this meant, but followed Rose when she pulled her away and smiled back at the booth owner. She was obviously oblivious to any suggestive town. This Doctor was still getting used to the body and the face and wasn't always aware of innuendos. "
"I dunno if it's any weirder than that time I talked to a space-frog. Or the Oods, you remember the Oods, right? Or the fireplace that traveled through." She really did get used to adapting quickly. You sort of had to when you were the Doctor.
Money! Right. She thought it over and looked around. Then she spotted an area that had people sitting behind booths with pictures above them. They were signing photographs and the Doctor got an idea. "Of course! Humans pay good money for signatures, right? We just sit down and offer to sign things. Can't be too hard. Do you have a pen??"
