America Chavez ([info]starsandhearts) wrote in [info]snapthread,
America was relieved when Gwen agreed to go with her, it wasn't like she wouldn't have gone anyway but if you were both going to the same place it only made sense to do it together. Everyone was always telling her she needed to get better at working as a team, maybe this could be a part of that, you know trying new things, being less consumed with her frustration and anger at being stuck in the same place for so long. It was something.

What she hadn't expected out of all of this though was what they found on the other side of the door, she might have preferred Mordor to this, at least Mordor made sense, there were little monsters that wanted to kill them. This was just - beyond explanation.

"Um... I don't think this has anything to do with the multiverse." She said after a pause, just to try and take it in, not all of it but some there was too much to take all of it in, and it set America on edge- even if it seemed innocent enough.

"Oh wow, Spider-Gwen!" Someone stopped right there in front of them, "And America! Sick, your costumes are amazing. They look so real, they're the best I've seen today. Can I take your picture?" The girl asked holding up a camera and looking at them both expectantly like that was a normal thing what she'd just said, like people just went around knowing who they were and asking for pictures.
