"That's the one," he replied. Bucky had felt pretty bad about that, but at the time had to trust Steve when he'd told him he would take care of it. They were, at that point, needing to focus their energy on the task before them. Still, there had been plenty of residual guilt. There still was, actually. Bucky was ninety-nine point nine percent sure he'd never really get past all of his guilt. There was always going to be some.
What followed, he certainly didn't expect. Did Barton just say he had a hot look? There'd been a time in his life when Bucky got plenty of attention (and honestly it wasn't discriminant between genders, either) and a good portion of that did stem from how he looked. Nowadays, he didn't really give a whole lot of thought to his appearance. Hence the long hair and scruff on his face. It wasn't a big deal that Clint had said that; hell, he didn't really even flinch over it. But it did sort of resonate in him. Maybe he wasn't a lost cause after all. Maybe that part of him still existed, contrary to what he thought before.
"What's fanart? I mean I can probably guess, but.. Is there something special about it?"
