Loki / Tony
After running into Tony the way he had that first time, caught standing like an idiot nearly open mouthed staring at a Steve who was not from his universe, Tony had kind of been a little less than eager to talk to the older version of himself. Not that he thought Tony would bring up that particularly embarrassing moment, that'd be a terrible time for them both. But how was he supposed to look him in the face after that? He had a hard enough time with Steve, both of them, he didn't think he could stand to see some older better version of him trying to make him feel better for stumbling over himself like that.
He just needed to get himself together and forget about all of them, the Steves and Tony and just you know - focus on figuring things out so they could all get home and he could get back to his regular life again. He could tell though that his suggestion didn't totally convince Loki, but maybe that was just going to have to be the sort of thing that none of them really got an answer to. Tony was okay with that. The not knowing. If it meant he didn't have to have that conversation with Tony.
"Okay," Tony said when their food arrived, Loki got his bacon and Tony well he had real food and it was kind of amazing, he could maybe give Loki this one, "Maybe this should have been at the top of my priority list from the start."
