The one he had in mind. If it were so simple. "He's no boy scout of mine." John acknowledged. "He's not from my time, but the one from when I was - well lets just say I wasn't boy scout material." He laughed lightly. "We can just say we fell on opposite sides of the law for most of my life," Well, the last hour of his they were on the same side. That was something, right? "Well, lets finish up here and go find your boy a 'stop being a sad bitch' present, and something nice for you and some candy for the people back in town." John encouraged continuing to eat at his bagel.
Nodding there was a crooked smile playing at his lips. "Just say the word, and I'll be there to help, and by help, I mean I'll find a nice chair to kick up on and nap." He teased shifting his weight some letting his eyes dart as if he could see through the table and then back to Beverly. "Maybe the pair of us, can get the ball rolling and having us helping - the pair will step up and get on helping." John shrugged. "Regardless, we'll just banish them from their theater until they make it up to you."
And helping? Well John had nothing else going on in his life, why not build a movie theater.
