They didn't have money. She took all of what he said into consideration. If she was going to have to survive this, she would have to use the logic she'd used when they stole the Atlesian ship: what other choice did they have? She sighed and apologized to the universe because she wasn't exactly sure how to play taking things cool. She'd at least be fine if this backfired and they had to fight their way out.
Grabbing her own cart, she followed after him, trying to find things that would last. There were some things she'd have to figure out as she went, but she hoped it wouldn't end in a near arrest. "I've stolen a ship before," she said after a moment. "Well, all of us did. But we had to. To get where we needed to go." And then they'd been arrested when they got there only to be unarrested, trained, and given their licenses. Only to then again be on the verge of arrest because of General Ironwood's fear and negative reactions to stupid things. She'd defend Yang and Blake till death. Ruby, too. They were her family. Telling Robyn hadn't been the wrong choice. Letting fear guide his actions had been General Ironwood's.
"So you guys regularly do this? And no one tries to stop you?"
