The boy in front of her was definitely different from her first encounter. She wasn't sure if she preferred it or not. It wasn't like there was a lot to do about it. He'd at least been nice enough to give her coffee. Even if it was only because someone else had made an error.
"The force?" Was that some secret magic thing that she hadn't been told about yet? And then he was walking away from her and she turned around, a hint of disbelief and confusion coloring her expression. But he seemed to decide to help her with the door. She wasn't sure if that was because he felt like he needed to or because he actually wanted to, but she followed after him.
Galen. It was a nice name, but she couldn't help but wonder what he'd been about to say before then. "Have people ever traveled back to the places they've come from before?" Mostly because she was curious about the possibility of being able to get more Dust. She'd need help, though. If she wanted enough to last her a while. "Does the door never go to the same place twice and how does it know where you need to go? Or is it just wherever the door wants you to go?" She knew the questions probably sounded annoying, but she needed to understand it if she was going to use it.
