"Got a little turned around on Main Street, but I'm here in one piece," Constantine joked right back. Because yeah, this place was ridiculously small -- and that was saying something because he was pretty sure it had increased in size since he'd shown up. There certainly hadn't been Fjords or hot springs there at that point. But it still felt small and too cramped most days.
He slipped in past Dan though, noting that goofy smile and finding it mostly endearing -- enough so that he sort of offered one back. Not quite as goofy, but hardly sharp. "I meant t'bring something," he admitted, "wasn't sure what. So. Hope you have enough --" he looked around, wonderingly, like maybe he could spot out something that Dan had in abundance. But he was new and therefore probably wouldn't have much of anything. At least not in abundance. "Books?"
