There were simple tells that showed how a person felt about things, and really he could tell that Weiss was really not having any of this. Accepting maybe, but not happy. It was fair, and Octane really didn't have any words to tell her that might make the situation any better - because it really wasn't going to get better if you were pulled from something so important.
Sighing softly, he kicked at the snow at his feet. Easily always very knowing how to move about this topic. Fuck it, it was what it was and he didn't know what the world was like back where she was from. His world, or worlds, were all pretty fucked up all the way around.
"Sounds like you have some loyal comrades." Octane muttered. "That's good, and I'm sure they will also be looking for a way to get you back too." Was anyone looking for him? Hard to say. Regardless, the notion of her sigh brought a smile back to his lips. "I am not a liar. I'm am, as the young kids would say, cute af." He laughed closing the distance so she could see the screen and systematically went through the device showing her how it operated. Once he was sure she had a little bit of an understanding, Octavio handed back the device.
"I look forward to you calling me a liar, Weiss." Octane laughed.
