Dan definitely didn't push Bill away - he didn't want to do that; his hands dropped to rest at Bill's waist again, though fingers curled in his belt loops because Dan kind of needed the grip for leverage. Or he'd go falling to the ground, since his knees threatened to give out.
"I want to," he clarified and, maybe he shouldn't have, but his thigh slipped in between Bill's legs, pressing there a bit. He couldn't help it - maybe he had more issues than National Geographic, but he did like Bill. Obviously found him to be attractive- it was just that he was an actual mess and he needed to not be that way if he was going to pursue anything with anyone. "Can - can I have some time?"
It had obviously been awhile since he'd needed to be concerned with how his heart worked, it was practically preserved in brine. And pickled. But that was probably obvious.
