WHO: St. John Allerdyce and Beverly Marsh. WHAT: John learns Kitty is gone. WHERE: Kitty's and John's house, and around town. WHEN: February 1st - Morning. RATING: I'm not crying, you're crying.
The great tethering of January had come and gone, and John had survived it. Not having to be with Loki every waking moment had left him and Kitty to get to know each other in the biblical sense - multiple times. Which was really a good way to wrap up the month.
Which led to the following morning leading into February. Just like normal, him and Kitty had went to bed together - happy and with all their little fur children. Lockheed on his perch over looking the room. Kasai at the foot of the bed, two turtles and electric rodent cuddled in where they could fit. Thankfully over the holidays Kitty got that much larger bed, because it was getting difficult for all of them to gather together and sleep comfortably. Waking up was like any other time. Light shining through, and Kitty was gone from the bed. Not abnormal - but what was, was that he still had every animal with him. Lockheed included. That, wasn't normal at all.
Whatever.
Stirring from bed, John swung through the shower and got dressed for the day. At this point, with Valentines Day coming, John wanted to start preparing to get ready for that so he could surprise Kitty with something great. Now in a stampede heading downstairs, John was followed by every animal imaginable to go look for Kitty. Landing at the bottom, John called out for Kitty. "Hey, Kitty!" And the silence was deafening. Sure they had recently went and found a TV for John, but normally she'd be found somewhere reading with her morning coffee. She was nowhere to be seen. "Oh that sneaky woman." John looked to the animals. "She's doing what I got planned. Not if I can help it!" With the two Squirtles cheering him on, John went to where they kept their shoes and hers were still there. Coat too. She was still, here? "What..?" John whispered softly spinning around looking about. Coffee not started. No breakfast made. "Kitty..?" John called out as he started venturing through the house. Calling her name, each time more desperate.
At this point, he was sure she wasn't in the house - she had to be out of the house. In a flash, John pulled on his shoes and coat and hastily left. John was going everywhere at this point. Mutual friends, calling her name... the new Spider Den or whatever it was called. Gwen's clothes spot. COFFEE.
Kitty was no where to be found. Not a single place, and he was finding out others were gone too. John had found himself in the courtyard now. Lost. Pyro was lost. This place just robbed him of something so important to him. They had joked about it, but he didn't believe it would happen to them. Not his Kitty. They had found each other here, and were able to have something like nothing else. John heard something, and honestly the words really went in one ear and out the other. John just turned to look at where the voice came from. It wasn't Kitty. She was gone. "I.." John muttered unsure what he was about to say. "She's gone. Kitty's gone. She's.." John choked on his words.
