Super Husbands
It wasn't like Steve hadn't seen Tony. He'd seen him. Like with an audience of what felt like 45 people and for someone that really preferred their own company and he was downright shy it was torture. Lucky Richie never stopped talking and it was a distraction from moping around constantly. Actually parts of it he'd liked, like how Richie was actually enjoying himself in the gym and that he made Steve laugh. It wasn't all awful.
But what was awful was how Tony, who he was newly engaged to hadn't been home in what felt like forever. There was only so many punching bags Steve could split.
They'd positioned themselves to get a little time away from each other, as away from each other as felt comfortable and Steve smiled as Tony approached. He was a little tired, a little sick of it, but always happy to see him. They assumed, like everything else here, it wouldn't be forever and they'd just have to ride it out.
