"Maybe," Tony agreed, a long while if he had his way, because he wasn't sure that was the sort of thing he'd ever really be able to make sense of. It was strange, to talk to Steve and not talk to Steve, maybe if he figured out a way to get over himself he could actually, you know - use this Steve as a sounding board? Though just the thought of it felt like too much to even pretend like he could ever accomplish.
But he was glad that Steve didn't try and make him come around just yet, he'd hang on to it and obsess about it all later, in private. For now though Steve was asking for his help and it seemed like the best out he was going to get from all of this so Tony was all for it.
"Yeah okay, I can help." He agreed nodding. It was good of Steve to do that for everybody, make sure that people who might not be going through the doors that often were being taken care of too, and it was a good excuse to get people out and talking to each other for a little while too. He liked the way it felt, a little like being back on campus, you know if he didn't look at the others too hard.
