It wasn't like Steve had a lot of secrets, but he was a shy and private kind of person. It made him uncomfortable when people got too close and he felt like that might even extend to another version of himself. It was a testament to the strange life he'd lead that all of this, while a little complex, almost seemed normal. Oh how things had changed over the years, that a small town full of other dimensional people was just another day at the office for Captain America.
Steve could appreciate a good view, the trickle of water down a rockface, the colours in the grass as the sun sank on the other side, or the cut of a hip. But maybe he was better at not looking, that was the last thing he needed growing up small and different. Steve certainly didn't like to make a show of himself and despite what Tony thought was usually fully clothed, but he wasn't going to be angry about him looking.
Tony Stark was blushing, as Steve lived and breathed he was watching it happen and it simply made the smile on his face grow. "Ahhhh huh," he said, a little drawn out and obviously not sold on what he was hearing. "Friends are good," Steve said with a nod.
