Tony was... well Tony was more than a little ramped up after recent events. Between his adventures through the door, the truly horrifying day that he'd spent staring at Steve for far longer than he should have, and then the arrival of his very own Steve- well not his Steve, he wasn't a thing to be possessed, not by Tony at least, and that was a line of thinking that needed to be shut down immediately - point being, things had gotten far more intense than he'd ever expected. It was all well and good to have found himself here with an older version of himself, but Jan was there and they were having a good time and it was - it was fun.
Only now Tony was fairly certain the universe was conspiring against him in all of this. It was just some sort of cruel prank meant to remind him that despite all the cheese in the world he was absolutely going to die of embarrassment here in this place.
A fact only further proven when as he was out for a walk, hoping that he might find another phone or two he could scrap for parts, maybe just to clear his head a little, when he found himself nearly face to face with one Steve Rogers, the older one, maddeningly still wet, still shirtless, and by the looks of it rather a lot more less this time as well. He wasn't staring - that was not what this was, he was simply caught by surprise.
And he didn't make any sort of noise when Steve not only realized he wasn't alone but spoke to him. "Uh," Reboot, quickly reboot, "Nice night?" He winced. "I mean - I... hi?" Where was Jan when he needed her?
