Who: St. John Allerdyce and Loki Laufeyson.
What: A tethering, a stabbing, and a fire happen at the Fjord.
When: Morning of the 20th.
Where: Loki's bedroom.
Rating: V for Violence. S for Stabbing. F for Fire. Bad things happen.

St. John was happy. He had fallen asleep with the love of his life, their many pets, in their gigantic bed that she was given for her efforts of living in this backwards town. Despite the strangeness of the place, John had learned to call it home, and frankly nothing bad had been happening since the time through the doors with his good ole pal Quill. So life was just simply good.

Well, up until he started coming conscious. Waking up, John felt an immediate difference. The bed first of all wasn't what it felt like previously. Not nearly as comfortable. Well, it was very comfortable, but the pillow his head was didn't have the mixed scent of his and Kitty's.

Neither did the body that he was so intent on being cuddled up to. This wasn't Kitty...

THIS WASN'T KITTY!

John sprang out of the bed with great momentum with a loud "What the fuck!?" Trying to put as much distance between himself and the other body, which abruptly ended as he felt something go taunt. The best thing he could describe the feeling as, when you watched a dog on a leash go running and suddenly hit the end of the leash - that was John. The momentum of his moving away from the other person came to a snap and John felt his body lurch and stop and down he went with another "What the fuuuuck?!" More confused before getting to his knees to learn who he was sharing a room with.

Loki. Well, this morning could be starting better.

It wasn't like Loki could have possibly ignored or slept through all the What the Fucks going on in her room -- from in the bed to out of it and then near it again. And as stupid as Thor could be sometimes, this wasn't one of his obnoxious antics. Plus Thor simply wasn't a What the Fuck kind of guy.

So Loki was up, eyes open, and sitting up almost immediately even as something tugged at her insides -- nothing natural, she noted. Something -- jumbled and complicated and sort of painful depending where Pyro of all fucking idiots, moved.

She had a knife in hand before she worried even remotely about clothing that wasn't just sheets and a curtain of long, dark hair.

"Keep looking at me like that," she hissed, brandishing her dagger threateningly, "and you won't have any eyes left with which to look."

Well, to say St. John turned his gaze immediately as he was learning something very important regarding the god known as Loki, was that he simply still didn't particularly want to mess with said god. Also, he was more confused on his feelings regarding her? Him? It was all very weird and he just wanted to avoid losing his eyes.

"Whoa whoa whoa." John held his hands up in defense. "I'm not here to start peeping at you. You are probably the last person I want to see wearing nothing or minimal or whatever." He paused. "Well, Stark. I really don't want to see Stark naked..." He paused. "Thor.." Awkward pause. "Any of the Spider-Bros.." He trailed off trying to preoccupied his mind, considering he was equally uncomfortably less clothed than he wanted. "Um.. that weird guy with metal legs..."

He just wanted to leave.

"Do you got something I can cover up with..?" John asked almost glancing to talk at her, but kept his face well pointed away. "I mean, I don't want to walk of shame home, if it's avoidable.."

Loki, however, was not learning anything new or confusing about St. John. If anything, she was more annoyed than usual -- even though, she supposed as she focused up a little bit more on the thread of magic that was in the air, this most likely was no fault of his.

That didn't mean that Loki's wrath dissipated, however. Certainly, she didn't put her knife down.

"Stop listing people you don't want to see," she said, annoyed, even as she conjured clothing around herself with simply a thought. For Pyro, on the other hand, she gestured vaguely at a pair of jeans and a t-shirt that were on the nearby chair. The walk of shame naked would be fairly harsh all the way from the Fjords to the town.

Learning, annoyed - it was all the same at this point, because John wasn't too keen to be tied to the god at hand either. Especially with the notion of how stabby Loki got.

Rolling his eyes, while Loki got annoyed with him, John focused on what he had control of, which was covering himself up sooner than later. A quick shimmy of his hips, he fit himself into the jeans, and tugged the shirt over his head to find something that resembled modesty. Not that John was overly modest.

"So. This is awkward." He smirked something of a coy grin trying to diffuse the situation at hand. "...so... what do we do about.." He trailed of as he gestured between the pair of them.

Loki didn't particularly care if John was modest or not -- Loki wasn't, although she did understand the general societal norms that were clothing.

She slipped out of bed, not bothering with socks or shoes -- or putting her knife away, because one never knew when a knife would be necessary, even if she didn't quite have any current intentions on using it on the idiot in front of her. "You're making it awkward," he supplied, clearly unamused as she gestured for him to be quiet. "There's something off. Be quiet long enough where I can focus on it."

There were threads. No visible, but she could feel them and -- just barely keep track of them before they were tangling again. Well. That was frustrating.

Well, there was something to get along about. Lack of fucks and modesty.

While Loki was making the snide comments, John muttered softly to himself about it all. "Your face is making it awkward." With a groan and a sigh he started to do his own vague testing of the confines. Walking away from Loki in a number of directions and ways till he found the limit. It wasn't a painful strain as he pulled at the invisible line connecting them, but it was something being felt for sure.

"Six feet... ish?" John spoke out before looking about. Where Loki could investigate the magic at least, St. John was just left in limbo. "Look. Can you do your little voodoo investigating in the kitchen. I'm starved, and I cook a killer breakfast."

Six feet sounded about right. And Loki didn't care for that calculation at all, because six feet wasn't very far at all, not for someone who was used to having their own space. Not when this town was already stifling on most days when Loki had once traveled wherever she pleased, slipped through shadows and space as if it was just another doorway.

And now they were here. And six feet was.... maddening.

She paused though, fingers held in the space in front of her, as if she were trying to untangle threads that weren't really there. It wasn't working. Yet. She could give it another go, perhaps.

"Do you clean up, after you've cooked a killer breakfast?" She asked, eyes narrowing slightly.

Being the man that John was, he was agreement with Loki. The distance in which they were tethered to each other was going to become an issue. Immediately wondering if Kitty was bound to someone herself. If not, lucky, but would she welcome Loki into their bedroom also?

And considering that he was becoming painfully aware of how much privacy he was about to not have - it was all he wanted now.

This was going to be a long however long this was going to be.

"I do. Clean as you go. Work smart, not hard." But he pointed at her weapon. "As long as I'm not stabbed in the process or at all that is. When stabbed, I make the biggest mess ever." After a moment. "So, I cook. You poke at this magic to save us from a however long of agony of annoying each other."

"Don't do anything to get stabbed for, and you won't have that extra mess to clean up," Loki said -- because obviously she wouldn't be the one to clean it. "Work smarter, not harder," she repeated. Well. The mantra wasn't wrong, in any case.

She agreed anyway, waving the knife into - whatever plane of existence it want to when she wasn't holding it - and then lead him to the kitchen -- seating herself on the kitchen island, bare feet dangling, (it was right in the middle, so obviously the smartest spot to allow room to wander) even as she closed her eyes to focus on the task at hand while she assumed John could find his way around.

It was, of course, a very unfortunate thing that she couldn't work the magic out properly. But breakfast was decent.
