Remus knew that the sight of a fully formed corporeal patronus was a sight to behold, especially if you'd never seen one before. Remus knew that it wasn't easy magic; many wizards never could cast a patronus charm and even when they did, it did not necessarily take shape. But his had, and though he wasn't sure he cared for the wolf form he was able to see its form clearly enough that it was an actual wolf and not a werewolf so that made it a little better.
"I see," he said. There were a lot of factors to consider. Remus wished that hearing of such things actually would come as a shock to him, but given the sort of dark magic, dark behavior, and dark wizards and werewolves he'd been exposed to over the years it wasn't an out of the ordinary sort of situation to him. That being said, even if it did shock him, Remus was more prone to staying level headed and calm in dire situations. He likely would still give her a similar response.
"There's no need to pay me back, truly," Remus said. "If I can help someone, of course I want to do it. I wish I could give you a guaranteed answer that it would work. I've only seen it drive away the dark creatures from my world. I'm certainly more than willing to try. Do you believe your friend would receive the idea well?"
