When the now-named Billie Holidog had first arrived, Bev did the proper thing and went through the doors to find someplace to stock up on pet supplies - her two arms and Stan's two meant that they brought back a good amount of stuff, most of it practical and some of it not. But the 'not' was also cute as hell, namely, the holiday sweaters she'd found for her pup; besides, when she went outdoors she still felt the toothy bite of winter, so she wanted to be warm and make sure Billie was okay too. But, yeah, it did look cute, didn't it? Today, she took Billie out - leash clipped to her harness and they were ready to go (the sweater had convenient holes for the metal clip, how convenient) - and stopped by Clint's Coffee Menagerie, because she couldn't not. The sunshine and the cold, the sparkle and the ice - that type of thing just screamed coffee. Caffeine. A warm beverage. However, on the way out Billie's leash got all tangled so Beverly stopped to adjust things, holding the to-go cup of dark brew - only Billie seemed to get excited, wiggly butt and all, suddenly darting off to go greet someone before Bev even knew what happened. "Oh - shit - I'm sorry," she called to the person her dog suddenly wanted to say hello to, clumsily grabbing her things and scrambling after that creature. For such small legs she was fast as lightning sometimes, geez. |
