Tony did usually manage to make people think he was charming. Because, most of the time, he was. At least when it came to random quips and one liners - things that most everyone liked, at least on surface level.
Mind, those things were extremely hard to use to his advantage when he was being lead around town by a man who had a vocabulary of only eight words so far. Very rugged, he thought. Or mostly rugged anyway. Tony would wait for the grunting to start before he made his final decision.
Manly grunting. Not sexy grunting.
Well. Maybe those things could be the same thing sometimes. Tony shook his head and fell into step beside the other man -- not behind. "I hear there's some sort of festival happening soon," he said, looking around the place as they walked, wondering if there was a word that properly described being overwhelmed by just how underwhelmed he was by everything.
Still, it was different. And he'd been told he ought to try that. So. Maybe he shouldn't complain.
