He'd liked Klaus from the start, the easy chemistry that they had between them. But they'd bonded as well, he'd seen real fear there in Las Vegas and they'd come through that together. There were parts of himself that he'd let Klaus get at, mentioning his family in a way he usually wouldn't. They'd got to know each other and luckily what he'd got to know Bill had liked.
