Steve helped Tony down from the truck, carefully guiding him across the icy street so he didn't go sliding around in those expensive shoes. Which he did anyway and luckily Steve was there to catch him with an extremely manly hand on his waist.
"A hotel?" Steve said, the fact he found the idea funny written all over his face. "The B and B was all we had that came close to it," he said with a shrug as he realized he'd been holding Tony's waist a beat too long and let him go to grab the door to the store instead.
It was warm inside and Steve shed his jacket and left it hanging on a hook on the back of the door while he went about collecting a few essentials. "I've got room," Steve offered lightly. "Nothing fancy, but warm."
