WHO: St. John Allerdyce and Kitty Pryde.
WHAT: PLEASE nothing bad, but good!
WHERE: John and Kitty try the doors, again.
WHEN: Saturday Morning.
RATING: C for Cute?
Okay. The month was half over. With the month half over, it was something near two months that Kitty and John hadn't ventured through the door. At the time of their talk, where John opened up about the experience he had, and that Kitty soothed and listened, they agreed to wait at least till December. Which reports of the doors were coming that they had been pretty damn pleasant. Some weirder than others, but nothing bad. This was their chance it seemed, and John wasn't going to waste this opportunity.
Him and Kitty were going to go through the doors and have a good fucking time.
Not even waiting to talk to his beloved, he just grabbed one of their backpacks. Threw some clothes of each of theirs into it. Siding with warmth because well that was the theme it seemed. In the process finding the horror of a stuffed doll of his nightmares. Talk about exposure therapy from the town. Throwing the doll across the room he continued packing the bag with all things needed for their adventure, and over night if it came to that - including some of that good ole fashioned American currency that he spent time collecting when he could so they had money as needed through the doors. Once everything was figured out, John was going down the stairs to find Kitty, which was easy.
"Katherine Pryde. My darling, my dear, my love." Carrying the bag in his hand he approached her. Taking a moment to steal a kiss from her, John followed up with. "The wind beneath my wings." Okay, so he was going overboard, but he had one more. "My more logical, smart, and beautiful other half." He took a deep breath. "We need that escape, and I think now is our time." He held the bag up. "We're packed, we just gotta go." Raising both eyebrows. "What do you think?"
