"You knew a kid who spit acid when you poked his stomach and you just..." He paused for a moment the idea of it feeling kind of crazy, "you just poke people's stomachs after that? What if I spit acid too?" He was appalled by the very idea of it, that this fellow was so willing to have acid spit at him if that had been the case - or maybe... what a mouthful of spiders? Whatever it might have been it would have been awful if that had been an ability he possessed.
"It's okay, they'll dissolve eventually." He assured Clark, both of the webs that still clung to him and the webs that remained. "They're a fluid I designed myself after I gained my powers, I've only improved on it since I was a teen, it's stronger now than it was then. So, it's just pretty impressive that you managed to go through them, I've managed to stop a train with them before."
