It was a little telling the way he tilted his head, he was someone used to being recognized. And it left Peter wondering about the place he'd come from. About the kind of person he was, and whether or not he had a real name, instead of you know... his superhero name. But you know Peter understood those who hid their identities, he kind of ruined that for the other Peter's with his arrival, but you know in general it was the sort of thing he didn't like to step on. So if he wanted to be Superman that was okay.
Yeah this guy was way too good, so he was either actually this good or he was someone who played a very good game, that smile was just plain ridiculous. "Metropolis?" He asked. He didn't leave New York often but he was pretty sure that was not an actual place, at least not where he was from, so you know that probably meant that they were from not just different dimensions but vastly different dimensions.
"So uh, here's the thing. We're having some sort of thing - people are arriving from all across the multiverse and we seem to be kind of trapped for the time being. We're working on finding a way out of this, but so far it seems like we're stuck. So this is not just me being ignorant of global constants as much as it is the very high probability that you and I are from alternate dimensions." He explained.
