In Klaus' experience you could tell a lot about a person, by the way they reacted to what was essentially innocent touching. Like his brother for example, Diego - if he'd linked his arm with Diego, he'd get a grumble and maybe even shoved off depending on the time of day and his brother's mood. But if it was Ben, well Ben would be only too happy and maybe even give Klaus a pat for his trouble. So he just waited to see how Octane would react to this as well and in the end it turned out just fine.
So Klaus moved Octane into the good for a flirt category, and walked with him up toward the lodge, chuckling at the scandalized sound of Octane's suggestion that he wouldn't be undressing him, at least not yet. "So we're counting this as our first date then?" He teased with a smirk of his own, "Good to know, I'll rearrange my plans so I'm ready for next time."
"A tutu may have it's place, but it is not fashion." Klaus reminded Octane, that was the important thing to remember here, and as far as Klaus was concerned, he wanted fashion - sure he might have his own idea about what exactly was fashion, but that was not it as far as he was concerned and at the moment his concerns were all that really mattered. "No, today we are after, some snow gear for you, I'm thinking blues," He decided giving Octane another look, "And of course the coat for me."
