"I really hope not." He said shaking his head, "Not like I can do anything about it now." He shrugged, things at work had been - well they'd been good before everything had come to a head, better than good in fact, sure accounting didn't really seem like that interesting of a profession, his father-in-law had been convinced he was going to end up supporting them before long, but Stan had gone and proved them all wrong and managed to not only be good at it, but also better than anyone had ever expected, to the point that he'd opened his own firm.
But really he supposed maybe there was a reason for it, though what exactly that was - well he didn't know. "Maybe my brain doesn't know how to deal with this place and the stress of an upcoming presentation is the best comparison it can come up with?" He offered after a moment too shrugging.
Things weren't all bad here, in fact there were some very good things about being here - being alive most of all. And then of course Richie and Eddie were another high point, but even with those good things there was plenty that was difficult about all of this. And Stan didn't have the second run in with It the way Richie and Eddie did, so he could just imagine they were both dealing with some other weights on their shoulders.
