Tony Stark ([info]campusking) wrote in [info]snapthread,
Tony | Jan :: Everyone loves a good embarrassing story
"No, not our Steve." That would have been a whole other can of worms, and Tony couldn't help but be relieved that Steve hadn't been there to see him acting like such an idiot. That would have been just about the only thing that could have made that worse.

"Yeah the bearded Steve." The beard was maybe a little weird and at the same time only served to make him that much more.... Steve. Whatever that meant, it made sense in Tony's mind and that was all that mattered. "I didn't get the chance to ask him." But he had a feeling it was a story they probably didn't want to know. Their Steve had a moment with a beard and well - that had been dramatic enough for Tony's taste, he didn't want to know what would cause this older version to do something so similar.

Jan knew though, she always knew which was why he'd come to hide here instead of alone, she'd find out eventually and he would feel better about it once they talked about it, that was the way most things worked after all. Tony groaned as he tried to think of how to even begin.

"He was just being Steve, you know?" Out there being friendly and helpful and just unassuming. It was ridiculous. "Kate was there, they were in the river."
