Tony wondered how complicated it could be, but then he thought about the way things had been for him and Steve in the beginning and well he thought maybe he knew something about that kind of complicated. And then Steve basically told him the story of how he and Steve had become friends and then - well how he at least had realized that maybe there was something to all of this that was more than just friendship and ... well yeah. Okay he got it. And nodded while Steve continued.
"That sounds like me and Steve too," He admitted, with his Steve gone now and this Steve coming to him to help with something like this Tony figured he could be honest about how he felt. It wasn't like he could do anything about it now. "He was so annoying in the beginning, all perfect and by the book." Tony said rolling his eyes and grinning at Steve. "I guess that's something I like?" He shrugged, it was ridiculous he knew, but things were what they were and it wasn't like it was all he liked. So whatever it was fine.
He nodded when Steve told him that he wanted Tony to know what he already did - though Tony couldn't imagine that the big Tony didn't already know that, but sometimes you needed to be shown something for it to really sink in, and that's what this was. "Guess you're pretty good at knowing your own mind." Tony agreed.
