Tony liked snacks and drinks, it wasn't cheese of course, but it was something and it was Steve with an offering so really what else was he gonna do? Like please, Steve could show up and demand food from Tony and he'd have happily let him in and fed him whatever he could scrounge up, but you know here they were.
"A favor?" He asked, curious about whatever it might be that Steve might want from him. "Is it something cool, that's my rule, all favors gotta be something cool." Okay it was a rule he'd just made up right here in this moment, but he thought maybe that was okay too. It sounded like a good rule, something that he'd be happy to keep to. As if there was any sort of possibility he wouldn't be helping Steve out with anything.
"Uh, well I mean I've been okay." He shrugged a little bit clutching the bottle that Steve handed him without drinking just yet. "Things have been.... crazy lately." Not just losing Steve, but the doors and being a kid again, more of one at least, and all the new arrivals - crazy seemed like it summed it up pretty well. "It's the way it is, you know? People come and they go, I haven't been able to figure it out."
Which grated on him, especially now - having lost both Jan and Steve, he wanted answers, he wanted to know for certain that they were back home at least, that he didn't have to worry about them in the late night hours when he wasn't sleeping - because of course he wasn't. "What about you though? Things are good?"
