“I see.” There was a faint smirk to Leia, that told her that, there were ways in which his opinions were biased, but - they weren’t entirely wrong either. Leia was a fighter too, in ways and she’d been in the thick of it - and worthy as she might’ve deemed stealth, or retreat or defense over offense there were matters where danger and aggression had their place in staying alive. Leia didn’t revel in battle so much, but she fought hard, and there’d been days seeing even small victories in battle, or even the slightest defeat of the Empire’s forces kept her going, a darker thought to some, perhaps.
Galen seemed intent to make an example of his point, by leaning in to kiss her, something Leia easily found herself practically melt into, and as intended, find her heart pounding in her chest. “You make a compelling argument against such ways.” Leia sighed, the nudge prompting her to push back, their faces still close in that moment feeling as if she were a little dazed his kiss, her words intended to give credit where it was due, when it came to good kisses. Really, it likely wasn’t the time to discuss the sense she saw in avoiding attachments, or whatever one wanted to classify it as.
But her feelings, no question were a tumultuous mix not so simple as to place as just negative or positive ..or right or wrong; such it was difficult for her to forge ahead with as much ease as Gal1en seemed to - but untangling the mess of it, or otherwise, Leia didn’t find herself wanting this to end too soon, and that was something to go on, so she chased it, in reigniting the kiss with him, perhaps in a slightly more guarded manner, perhaps still a little more briefly too, given her words spurred by decency in public locations.
