His only desire was to convey the moment, and it seemed to be done. Sure, Leia often in the past took of fleeing from the whole situation, and really if Leia wanted away from him - he'd of allowed it. Sure. The fear of her taking off was there in a vague sense, but since becoming closer since being children, there wasn't so much fear there for Starkiller. Just patience. Just as the kiss sent both of their feeling swirling, Galen didn't want her uncomfortable with the situation either. Having been raised in the manner he was, it was just simple that most of the common place social markers weren't there for him. Such as her reluctance of public affection, was lost on Galen. To him, it was all about expressing and letting the emotions run free. After all, through those emotions he held his own power, and she could too. Of course, Sith taught utilize your anger, but Starkiller was trying to take those teachings and use it in all aspects of his emotions. Why was anger the only weapon?
With the gentle rock of the waves, Galen nodded to her. "Yes. Ours." He reaffirmed to her. "People be damned." Though, Galen eased his grip on her just to let his one hand rest a little higher on her back than it previously was placed. It must have been his touching that caused her to take a step back again after all.
But she was also touching him still. The things he felt though. The way she touched him, was gentle, but felt for just him. Even the way she touched his shoulder and arm. "Well. I didn't mean retreat as in a battle." Starkiller scrunched his face at her. "Because I would never retreat in a battle after all." But there was the smallest of sly smirks on his lips.
