It was impossible not to have noticed the almost bashful change in Galen as he looked to her, which - given how things were developing between them, she could understand it, there was plenty of new territory they were crossing and Leia hadn’t thought it too much - mostly her choice was merely because she’d liked what she chosen of all that was available in the shop. She was seeing him this way, shirtless and wading through the water. Perhaps she took it all in with a little more ease.
Leia waded close enough to take his hand and push forward through the pleasantly swooshing water together. “Well- we’ll take our time.” Her tone wasn’t the least bit patronising, more simply to indicate that like all things, so far she was happy to get used to it together, take their time - but the water was calm and the waves that rolled were barely even noticeable, gently lapping at their legs as their forward movement churned the water.
At the point Leia was submerged to her waist, she dipped a hand into the water, and threw a splash of it in his direction, as if to snap him out of it and trying to get his attention back for all his efforts to keep his eyes elsewhere. “I was worried it would be too cold.” It wasn’t in the least.
