Peter Parker | Gwen Stacy
In the end, it all balances out, Peter's sure of that. It was no use wondering 'why me', despite the instinct to do so anyway - but Peter's been wondering that for years, so. He's grateful there are people here from his universe - even if they aren't necessarily the ones he actually knows...it's a small comfort. He couldn't imagine ending up here alone, though. That's...too difficult to even entertain.
"Yeah, totally." He hadn't explored much yet, if he's being honest. Not beyond the toilet bowl and the bed, but hey. Peter returned the smile, a soft, breakable thing. But it was there, and that was what mattered, wasn't it? "Sure, yeah I don't - want to keep you. Thanks. Thank you."
Peter offered a small wave, circling his fork on his plate absently. "I'll see you later. At...home, probably."
