Eddie Kaspbrak | Tony Stark
Tony's father sounded like a real piece of work. He wasn't sure if the guy would've gotten along with Sonia or not but she would've definitely respected him. He seemed strict and difficult to please. Eddie wouldn't ask. He didn't want to dig too deeply into Tony's own trauma. Not yet, anyway. It was best to just focus on the good. To focus on the pets Tony had now and Eddie's own potential one. To set up, like, playdates even if there was no guarantee the little guy would be coming back with him. "You will. As soon as he gets settled in." He promised.
Stan was nice. Sure, he had that wicked sarcastic streak to him but, on the whole, Stan was a sweetheart. "You'll love him. I love him." And he meant that in a way that was stronger than what Tony would end up feeling for the other. The Losers had always been like that. More than a little in love with each other. "You're probably right. It's probably selfish or something to want them here but..." He shrugged. "You're here." And, as far as Eddie was concerned, Tony was practically one of them. He couldn't help but want them all to meet. He sort of hoped some of Tony's friends would start showing up too though. He couldn't imagine being on his own. It was bound to be kind of lonely. "You're great. I'd like to meet your friends one day but, yeah, you're enough."
He knew that would work. Tony had seemed like the type he thrived on that sort of thing. He liked being able to explain the stuff he was working on and the things he loved. Seeing him smile that brightly and get excited only made Eddie smile brighter himself. "We'd love to see them." He agreed.
He spotted Richie and Stan out of the corner of his eye, moving through the crowd and looking for someone. Probably him. "I guess it's time for me to get going." He said, nodding towards the other two. "Stanley's probably a little overwhelmed and, after the doors, none of us like to be away from each other for too long." Eddie definitely didn't want to walk home alone. "I'll talk to you again later." He said before moving to give Tony a friendly hug. "Next time I'll bring my friends along with me." It was a promise.
