Eddie Kaspbrak | Tony Stark
Eddie smiled at the thought that, maybe, Tony understood in his own way what it had been like. The younger man had, obviously, made it work for him in a way that Eddie couldn't but certain things had to feel the same. There had to be moments of feeling like an outsider. Moments of loneliness and not knowing just where he fit in. It couldn't be perfect all the time.
If there was any way that Eddie could help Tony out, whether it was something as simple as hanging out and watching him be impressive or running through those hell doors again, he was happy to do it. Eddie had always been the type of person to love his friends more than anything and to let that love push him to do things that scared him. He might drag his feet and put up a fuss on occasion but he would always be there for them. Maybe he would actually get lucky and manage to point one of his newer friends towards what they were looking for. It was just a shame he couldn't do that for Hopper.
At the mention of pokemon Eddie lifted his eyebrows. He'd seen a few around. There was this cute one he liked to watch that sort of looked like a duck or a platypus but wasn't. It seemed... nervous. He tried to keep his distance and not upset it but he liked it. "I think I know what you're talking about. There's this one that kinda looks like a duck that I've seen around." He said, smiling a little. "And, of course, I saw your's back at the party. She was cute." He'd spent a lot of time watching her too because he'd been at the party alone, without Richie, and had felt a little too anxious to mingle with the others. "It does sound like an amazing day. I would've liked to spend a day at the beach instead of in a murder hotel."
