Peter | Tony 2.0
He huffed despite himself, just a small thing, not even a real laugh but it's something - but Peter was funny and Tony couldn't help but react to that. "Good, good plan - love it when one comes together, a not dying plan is the best of all possible plans too." He added as if Peter needed that kind of thing, but mostly he was just a little bit nervous about not realizing he'd been stepping into a potential landmine field when he'd started up this conversation.
"Jan? Oh she's my best friend, we went to the Academy together, she's the best." He grinned hugely because well if there was one thing that Tony loved in this world it was Jan. "She ended up here before I did, maybe a few weeks before I showed up?" He tried remembering back thinking if Jan had told him how long she'd been here before he'd shown up or not. It wasn't important really. "Anyway, she's my friend Janet Van Dyne, also known as the Wasp. She's one of the number one social media personalities in the world. Definitely the number one at the Academy."
As for the other versions of themselves thing, Tony was really mostly sort of kind of talking about himself and the sort of life that the older Tony had carved out for himself. It was - well it was a lot more than he'd been able to do himself and there was a part of him that felt jealous even while he knew it wasn't quite right to feel that. "Yeah, I mean yeah of course I have things to get back to - I mean Jan is back there, she was sent back a while ago - and I mean we were going to start another Academy together, so maybe she's doing it on her own? I don't know and Steve is back thee - there's a lot that I want to get back to but that hasn't been something I've been able to figure out how to do just yet."
Ah okay well at least he'd talked to Gwen and knew about the whole additional Spider-people thing so that wasn't something he'd just dumped on him too. "I think it's just Peter at the bar and Gwen now, but they're both really great." He was quick to add just do Peter knew.
